TAIPEI, TW, July 22, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - After two days of tough competition the absolute winners of the EU final of the MSI Master Overclocking Arena 2009 are fixed: ryba and Chaos from Poland won in the contest with 17 European countries involved as participators. The price for the Polish team: A trip to the MSI Master Overclocking Arena 2009 Grand final happening in Beijing / China on 28-30 of August and an additional 2.000 USD cheque.
MSI selected the best overclockers from whole Europe through local qualifiers to meet from 17th to 18th July in Olympic Stadium in Munich / Germany to tune up the fastest PCs of the world. The MSI "IT Olympics" have been aimed at maximum Performance, highest clock rates and ultimate fun for all participators. The MSI Eclipse SLI mainboard with Intel X58 Express chipset and Core(TM) i7 950 CPU build the perfect platform. More than this the MSI N260GTX Lightning graphics cards with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 chip opened the way to WORLD RECORD in 3DMark: With 80771 Points in 3DMark03 the team of Poland not only won the contest but also have been able to set a new world record in 3DMark03! But not only Poland has been a winner. On second place the Greece team Hipro5 and Gprhellas (last year's winner) received also the invitation to Grand final in China and a 1.000 USD cheque. On third place Sweden (Elmor and ME4ME) received 500 USD and qualified for the Grand final as well as the fourth and fifth placed countries Finland (SF3D and Sampsa) and Denmark (Noxon and Nanok).
