BEIJING, Apr 7, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Isp.org.cn (http://www.isp.org.cn/products/) latest report shows that the sales of Apple's iPad 2 surpassed iPad 1 in March, as the shipment volume reached 2.4 million units.
Isp.org.cn analyzes that the as for monthly shipments in Q2, iPad 2 will grow from 4 million units to 4.5 million units, and the total volume of shipments in Q2 will reach 12 million units. Isp.org.cn reports that the sales speed of ipad 2 far exceeds the ipad 1.
Isp.org.cn's analyst points out that Apple and other tablet manufacturers which are successful depend on the enough touch screens. To reach 2011 sales targets, Apple needs manufacturers to supply a stable source of goods.
iPad 2 was out of stock in March, so we can know that Apple exhausted all sources of goods. If the components manufacturers' prediction were right, it means that Apple has sold at least 2.4 million iPad 2 in March.
Isp.org.cn points out that compared with iPad 2, the iPad 1 needed only 28 days to sell 1 million units, and there was only the Wifi version in the first month of last year as iPad launched. But this year, iPad 2 launched with the Wifi and 3G versions.
