BEIJING, May 16, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Tjskl.org.cn reports that RIM's new BlackBerry PlayBook seems to have encountered another obstacle. According to reports, RIM is recalling more than 900 units of Blackberry PlayBook which are flawed.
Tjskl.org.cn analyzes that it is unclear the the BlackBerry PlayBooks recalled are sold in the U.S. or in Canada or these two countries were both included. RIM executives did not immediately respond the request for comment.
According to Tjskl.org.cn, some BlackBerry PlayBook users who bought from the Staples store meet some difficulties when loading the agreement in the screen. PlayBook users must complete this process to operate this equipment. The recall is another difficulty for RIM in just a few months.
BlackBerry PlayBook was designed to challenge Apple's iPad and Google Android's mobile devices. Tjskl.org.cn points out that RIM did not disclose how many sets of PlayBook have been sold so far and did not predict how much sales will be at the end of this quarter. Tjskl.org.cn predicts that in the end of June, the sales of PlayBook are expected to reach 500,000 sets at the end of May.
