SINGAPORE, Feb 19, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - CenturyLink Technology Solutions today announced the appointment of Ras Scollay as sales director for its Southeast Asia operations.

Based in Singapore, Scollay is charged with driving overall business strategy and enterprise customer growth within the region for CenturyLink Technology Solutions, which formerly operated under the name Savvis. He brings 18 years of experience to the role and has worked in the IT and telecommunications industry in Europe, Asia and Australia.

The appointment follows a series of strategic moves by CenturyLink to strengthen its portfolio of cloud, managed services and colocation solutions for enterprises. This includes the acquisition of Tier 3, which is known for its capability in managing complex workflows as a cloud service in a unified management interface.

Prior to joining CenturyLink Technology Solutions, Scollay worked at KVH Singapore where he was responsible for driving sales of solutions. Prior to that, he was head of KVH's carrier wholesale business based in Tokyo. Scollay also worked at Colt Technology Services in London, where he was responsible for driving sales in the media, broadcast and financial services sectors.
