Indonesian Ceramic Industry ready to compete in quality and technology with foreign products in the era of globalization |
JAKARTA, Mar 12, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - The Indonesia Ceramic Industry Association (ASAKI) in cooperation with Reed Panorama Exhibitions (RPE) continues to bring hundreds of industry players and supporting industry together in one event, "KERAMIKA 2015". The event will be held from 19 - 22 March at the Jakarta Convention Centre, and is open for the public from 10 am to 8 pm.
KERAMIKA aims to promote the Indonesian ceramic industry for the domestic and export markets. With an abundant supply of raw materials combined with the latest technology, Indonesia has become one of the top 5 producers of ceramics in terms of production capacity and the usage of ceramics per capita, along with China, India, Spain and the United States.
The ceramic industry grows closer to the community through KERAMIKA. As the only exhibition in the South East Asia region, the public can directly witness the development of the Indonesian ceramic industry in terms of quality, technology, and also design. Reflecting on this, it is no exaggeration to say that KERAMIKA has become a WINDOW FOR THE INDONESIAN CERAMIC INDUSTRY.
Entering its fourth year, support for KERAMIKA is increasing from business players and the market itself, as reflected by the interest from business players to display their best products and also the increasing interest from the public to visit the event. In 2014 more than 26,000 visitors attended KERAMIKA, including industry players and the public, architects, engineers, property developers and homeowners.
Elisa Sinaga, Chairman of ASAKI, said that KERAMIKA plays an important role in supporting the growth of the ceramics industry in Indonesia, and KERAMIKA is the main stage for all ceramic producers to promote their best products to the domestic and international markets and showcase the latest developments in design and technology. And as a window on the industry, business players from both domestic and international markets can see the potential for all, and engage in the opportunity to exchange information about the development of the ceramic industry.
James Boey, General Manager Reed Panorama Exhibitions, said that the success in holding KERAMIKA every year has made the event a benchmark for the development of the ceramic industry, especially for building materials and architecture services industries in Indonesia. Similar to the previous year, KERAMIKA is also held in conjunction with MEGABUILD INDONESIA, complementing each other so that the visitor can make the grand exhibition as a "one stop solution" for the needs of a home, building, and other construction projects. Mulyadi Toha, Chief Executive of KERAMIKA, adds that KERAMIKA 2015 is expected to draw more than 30,000 visitors, an increase of 15% from last year, with an increase in the transaction volume at the exhibition.
Mulyadi also explained that KERAMIKA is an important event and has a positive impact for the industry, with the event not only bring together producers with architects, developers, contractors and retailers, but also becoming an event where the supporting industry from overseas, including Italy, China, Spain, America and others, introduce raw materials and ceramic machines with the latest technology for the producers. Many experts from overseas have booked to attend KERAMIKA, to discuss local requirements and showcase the latest technologies directly to industry players in Indonesia.
KERAMIKA 2015 combines a showroom and a medium for education and information for industry players and visitors, and KERAMICA 2015 will provide various programs that can increase the knowledge, especially regarding ceramic such as the the KERAMIKA Forum, Product Presentation, Ceramic Design Competition and much more. The KERAMIKA Forum offers solutions for various issues developing in the ceramic industry, and will discuss energy saving technology solutions, design developments, distribution processes and logistics for the ceramic industry.
Occupying an area of 7,500 m2, KERAMIKA 2015 will bring the big names in the ceramics industry from domestic and international markets such as ARWANA, CENTRO, INDOGRESS, KANMURI, KIA, MULIA, MILAN, NIRO, ROMAN, TOTO, SYSTEM, TORRECID, COLOROBBIA, ESMALGLASS, FERRO, M-CLAS, ACIMAC and many more, as other countries that will take part in displaying their products and services are Italy, China, Spain, Malaysia, Thailand, Greece, United States and Germany.
Different than KERAMIKA in previous years, at KERAMIKA 2015 visitors can see various products of Indonesian ceramics in sizes and shapes that are unusual or a new trend, aside from decorative tiles that can be printed in flat or non flat surface with motives such as natural stone, wood, bamboo, and others. While for the supporting industry, KERAMIKA 2015 aims to be the place to launch new products whatever its machine or material, and to share information about the development of the technology in the future.
"Specially for the media": as a trade and industry show, KERAMIKA 2015 realizes the importance of the media in delivering information about the industry's development from the exhibition area, and for convenience the organizer has prepared a media lounge area equipped with WIFI networks. For media who want to meet sources from the industry, the organizer will facilitate one one one interviews in Hall B. A list of sources can be seen at the attachment of the release.
So for all industry players including distributors, ceramic agents, property developers, architects, interior design and manufacturing, KERAMIKA 2015 is an essential exhibition to visit. Don't miss the best chance to meet directly with the producers to create the best value for your business!
