TOKYO, Jan 12, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announces it unveiled today (January 11 in the United States) the "FT-CH" compact hybrid concept car at the 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
The FT-CH (Future Toyota-Compact Hybrid), with a gasoline-electric hybrid system, pursues outstanding environmental performance while remaining fun to drive. On the outside, its triangular silhouette represents the latest in aerodynamics theory-based airflow management, and, on the inside, refinement testifies to the importance placed on personal space.
Also at NAIAS, TMC is exhibiting the urban concept electric vehicle "FT-EV" (Future Toyota-Electric Vehicle) II, the "Prius Plug-in Hybrid", the "Camry Hybrid" and the "Highlander Hybrid", among numerous other vehicles.
