JAKARTA, INDONESIA, Aug 20, 2016 - (ACN Newswire) - The health and beauty industry seems to be a very lucrative market in Indonesia, a 2015 Euromonitor International survey shows. The export value of Indonesia cosmetics soared up to USD$86 million.
The data also showed that emerging countries contribute up to 51 percent of the global beauty industry. The countries, including Indonesia, have a dynamic market in Southeast Asia.
LiveWell Global (LWG) as a multi-level marketing (MLM) company which is engaged in health and beauty industry sees this as a promising opportunity. Bambang Muliana CEO of LWG said the presence of the LWG is part of measures to address the high demand for beauty and health care in the country.
According to Bambang, Indonesia has great potential to become the center of health and beauty industry given its vast market. Also, raw materials used in this industry are abundantly available yet largely untapped.
"As we all know, Indonesia is rich in natural resources. The benefits of natural resources have not yet fully been explored to its full potential," he said on the sidelines of the launch of LWG new product on Sunday (8/7).
LWG, Bambang added, comes in with the spirit to support health and beauty industry in Indonesia. The growth in this industry will result in creating more jobs for marketers and distributors. "That way the economy will ultimately grow," he said.
He continued, based on Government Regulation No. 14 Year 2015 concerning Master Plan of National Industry Development (Rencana Induk Pembangunan Industri Nasional/RIPIN) Year 2015-2035, the cosmetics industry became a mainstay industry, a priority industry with leading roles as the prime mover of the future economy.
"LWG as a company which engaged in the field of health and beauty does not only run its business in Indonesia, but it will expand to a wider market share in neighboring countries, such as Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore," he explained.
Derian Yusuf, Vice President Director of LiveWell Global, said LWG is introducing its newest product called Este'au. Este'au is hydrogen water beauty moisturizer. It can be used to rejuvenate and brighten the skin tone.
This tool, said Derian, is capable of changing mineral water into high-hydrogen water.
