HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM, May 13, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - The 4th annual Asian Publishing Convention (APC) has now moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Dates remain the same on July 8 and 9, 2010.
After a series of discussion between the organizers and The Magazine Association of Thailand (TMAT), it was decided to move APC 2010 from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City - APC will be back in Bangkok in 2011.
APC Co-chairs, Ashok Nath and Cyril Pereira said in their letter to APC's sponsors, partners, exhibitors, delegates and awards entrants. "We have been discussing the situation in Thailand with our partners from The Magazine Association of Thailand (TMAT). Both TMAT and we as organizers of APC feel that Bangkok is still a very viable option. However, we have to be more prudent because of the many travel advisories against traveling to Thailand from various countries. Both TMAT and us agree that all told, perhaps we should look at Bangkok for next year".
APC 2010 is known as the annual no-nonsense learning and networking convention for publishing professionals in Asia. APC seeks to define the new realities of publishing in the creation, processing and distribution of content for profit. Masso Group, a leading PR/Communication and Educational group of companies in Vietnam, is helping make APC happen in Vietnam and is the lead local partner. APC in Ho Chi Minh City will guide publishers to leverage digital tools for profitable audience growth, subscription & advertising revenues.
