TOKYO, Sept 13, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces that PT. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), TMC's vehicle production subsidiary in Indonesia, plans to build a second plant adjacent to its existing Karawang Plant to meet demand in the growing Indonesian market.

Karawang Plant No. 2 is scheduled to start production of new vehicle models in early 2013 at an annual pace of 70,000 units. Total cash investment for construction is expected to be 26.3 billion yen and new hires for TMMIN are also planned.
