BEIJING, Oct 9, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - According to the recent research of Chinaqualitydigital.com, the computer maker Dell has announced that it would abandon the plan to develop and run the Microsoft Windows Phone Mango operating system and equipment. There was rumor that the company planed to release at least one new mobile phone that runs Microsoft's new operating system, now it seems to be impossible.
Chinaqualitydigital.com (http://www.chinaqualitydigital.com/) reports that the equipment in the rumor has appeared with the other equipment of Dell earlier this year. It is planed to be sold code named Dell Wrigley as an upgrade of Dell's Venue Pro come. However, the recent reports show that Dell has actually removed the entire product marketing plan, while its follow-up product development plan is canceled. In the May, Dell was included in the vendors that support Mango, but the public still guess it will launch a new mobile phone based on the system in the next year.
Chinaqualitydigital.com analyzes that Dell's Venue Pro will continue to be supported, and this may be the only thing that Dell needs to do in the area of Windows Phone. However, at present, only Mango system is not on Dell's support list, and Apollo or Windows Phone 8 systems may be used by Dell to develop smart phones.
