香港, 2018年8月28日 - (亞太商訊) - 銀河資源有限公司（「銀河資源」或「公司」）（ASX︰GXY）欣然公布與POSCO簽訂具有約束力的最終文件，出售位於阿根廷西北地區 Salar del Hombre Muerto 鹽湖北部的礦區，現金代價為2.8億美元。代價將於完成阿根廷相關礦區的轉讓及登記手續後支付予銀河資源。交易的礦區載於下文。

摘要
- 與POSCO簽訂具約束力協議，以現金2.8億美元出售Salar del Hombre Muerto鹽湖北部盆地的礦區
- 銀河資源將保留卡塔馬卡省Sal de Vida 項目餘下礦區的100%權益

出售的礦區在銀河資源位於阿根廷的世界級Sal de Vida 項目(「Sal De Vida」或「該項目」)的北部（見圖一）。銀河資源將保留卡塔馬卡省 Salar del Hombre Muerto 鹽湖地區南部礦區的100%權益，該區包括在Sal de Vida 的最新可行性研究內(參閱2018年5月15日的公告)。
此外，銀河資源與POSCO將繼續物色合作機會，以促進各自在 Salar del Hombre Muerto 鹽湖地區項目的未來發展及營運協同效應。
有關轉讓及登記該礦區的必要手續最終確定之後，交易預計於2018年第四季度完成。交易的所得現金淨額將於用作發展Sal de Vida 項目。銀河資源在摩根大通的幫助下，正進行Sal de Vida 開發項目的策略夥伴評估。公司在不久將來將發布相關的最新消息。
