SINGAPORE, Sept 11, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - Morgan Technical Ceramics today announced it will exhibit a range of advanced product offerings for the medical industry at the inaugural Medical Manufacturing Asia 2012, set to take place at Suntec Singapore from 12 - 14 September, 2012. Morgan Technical Ceramics stand will be located at E39, Hall 401, under the Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association (SPETA) pavilion.

Compared to traditional brazing, Ultinex(TM) brazing frees up processing time resulting in shorter lead times, lower work in process and less fall out. An additional benefit is that material selection is broader which can lead to higher performing designs and ultimately better solutions.
Examples of specialised ceramic-to-metal assemblies for implantable devices include pacemakers used to regulate the beating of the heart, and ceramic speech valves, used to restore speech and vocal functions for throat cancer patients that have undergone laryngectomy, or, removal of the larynx.
Morgan Technical Ceramics personnel will be available at stand E39, Hall 401 at the Suntec Singapore to answer questions and offer advice and recommendations on the use of its ceramic components in medical applications.
