ChinaVision Joins Hands with Super Movie Stars to Promote Movie Business Development
Collaborate with Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow to Achieve Further Success

HONG KONG, Sept 26, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - China Vision Media Group Limited ("ChinaVision" or "the Group"; HKSE:1060) are pleased to announce the Group's major milestones. Apart from the strategic partnership with Hong Kong film maker Stephen Chow on five new movies directed by Chow scheduled for release in seven years, the Group has also secured a project reuniting Jackie Chan and a new well-established director workshop from Mainland China, to continue to promote the further development of China movie industry.

On 18 September 2012, Dong Ping, Chairman of ChinaVision and Liu Xiaoling, Chief Executive Office of ChinaVision, officiated the Group's 3rd anniversary banquet ceremony and reviewed the Group's outstanding business achievement in the past three years. The ceremony was also stared by renowned movie directors Ying Li, Ding Sheng and Zhang Yuan, famous actors Ge You, Chen Baoguo, Ding Zhicheng, Liu Hua, pop singer Yang Kun and other celebrities.

At the celebration, ChinaVision has also announced the latest development of its eight director workshops. It is the first time for the eight workshops showed up together after the acquisition with China Entertainment Media Group ("China Entertainment"). The workshops featured directors Ding Sheng and Ying Li, who disclosed the plans of their future movies. Ding Sheng, with a successful record in commercial films, will work with Jackie Chan in "Police Story 2013" after their collaboration in "Little Big Soldier". And this time, Jackie will take one step away from his signature action movies. The film will be co-invested by ChinaVision and Wan Da Film and TV Media Co., LTD ("Wan Da") with Ding Sheng directing and Jackie Chan to play the leading role. It is expected to hit the screen in 2013.

'Police Story' is one of the most well-known works for Jackie Chan and had its sequels during the past two decades, which enjoyed high reputation and became a blockbuster in box office. It is expected that 'Police Story 2013' will continue to add beauty to the movie legend. The collaboration between Ding Sheng and Jackie Chan is expected to open a new chapter for the Group's movie business development.

- Strong capital support on special effects of "Journey to the West" directed by Stephen Chow -

Apart from the corporation with Jackie Chan, as the Group announced before, it has committed to joining hands with Stephen Chow to invest in his latest movie "Journey to the West". The Group also entered into a joint agreement with Chow on the investment of five other movies in seven years. "Journey to the West" has attracted the interest of numerous fans since it secretly started shooting. The movie is now under post-production and is scheduled to hit the screen during the 2013 Spring Festival. The latest movie delivers the humor and romantic which are of Stephen Chow cinematic signature as in "Journey to the West" produced 16 years ago. The said movie also features famous Asian stars, including Huang Bo and Shu Qi, who had received Best Actor and Best Actress of Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards respectively, rising star Wen Zhang and Asia's Dance King Show Luo, together with a number of well-known young actors and actresses. The story line is the youth of Buddhist monk Xuan Zang spiced with humorous and amorous elements that Chow so deftly integrates. Compared with the original work 16 years ago, this new production not only showcases the extraordinary creativity of Chow, the stronger capital support also enables special effects that vividly recreate a fantasy world from this famous novel.

Though it is not disclosed which stars would be invited, such superb casting ensures the best artistic performance for the market.

The eight new workshops for which ChinaVision has signed contracts open a new golden era for the film and TV production of the Group. Currently the Group has assembled famous stars including Ge You, Chen Bao Guo and Huang Bo; proven script writers such as Hai Yan, Yan Ge Ling and Dong Zhe (representative film: 'The Beginning of the Great Revival'and renowned movie directors including Yin Li and Ding Sheng. This unique model of signing contracts for movies and workshops not only offers maximum flexibility for creativity, but also can effectively consolidate the human resources of the Group and establishes a content creation and production system that can deliver top quality and a wider variety of films and TV dramas.

The new dramas pending for broadcast including "Qiang Shen", and the works still under production including "Athena" and "Yi Zhe Wu Di" are expected to be popularly received as well.
