SINGAPORE, Mar 27, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - The Global CSR Summit & Awards 2014, recognized as Asia's most prestigious event and awards on Corporate Social Responsibility, will be held at 3-4 April 2014 in Laguna Bali, Indonesia. The Summit is celebrating its sixth successive year and will attract over 200 delegates from top corporations and NGOs from Asia and the rest of the world.
The theme for the Global CSR Summit & Awards 2014 is: "Paradigm Shift For Meaningful Change". This is a radical shift from most CSR events, moving away from status quo preservation toward radical thinking and status change to achieve meaningful results for societies. The event will feature some of the world's most innovative and radical speakers that will be sharing their revolutionary ideas.
Over 30 senior executives from leading organizations and NGOs will be speaking at the event including Mr. Mark Goyder, the founder of British Think Tank, Tomorrow's Company. Mr. Goyder is also an award winning speaker, writer and broadcaster and will be delivering the first keynote address.
The event has been hosted in Singapore and in different parts of Philippines in the previous years. For the 2014 edition, participants have chosen Bali, Indonesia as the choice location to host this momentous event to honour the achievements of past award winners from 2009 in a high profile event "Hall of Fame" Gala Awards format.
Two new award categories were added for the 2014 edition namely the Empowerment of Women Award and the Education & Literacy Award. Over 150 entries have been received from companies around the world for these 6th Annual Awards.
