Four Hong Kong April Fairs Expect To Attract 6,900+ Exhibitors

Home Comforts

With more than 2,100 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions taking part, the HKTDC Hong Kong Houseware Fair is the largest in Asia for the industry. To cater to the growing demand, the fair will present new product zones: Bath, Beauty & Healthcare; Festive Decor; Home Cleaning; Storage Solutions; and Wine Tools & Accessories.

Returning to the fair this year will be the Hall of Elegance with leading international brands from Austria (BWT), Canada (Knack3), Italy (TVS) and Spain (Vigar). Top brands will also be on show in the World of Pet Supplies, Creative Arts & Cultural Craft and Best of ASEAN zones.

Tailor-Made

Fitting perfectly alongside the Houseware Fair is the concurrent Hong Kong International Home Textiles & Furnishings Fair, which also runs from 20-23 April at the HKCEC. The fair, now in its sixth year, showcases over 240 exhibitors in the textiles and furnishing sectors.

Indonesia is represented at the fair for the first time, joining such major players in the home textile industry as the Chinese mainland and India. Buyers will be able to find a full range of products, from basics to luxury and classic to contemporary with attractive solutions and specialist items.

A major highlight is the Hall of Glamour, which focuses on top-of-the range products with designer collections and branded products. Other zones cover Baby & Bedroom Textiles, Bathroom & Kitchen Textiles, Carpet & Floor Coverings, Design Solutions & Trade Services, and Upholstery & Furnishing Products.

Premium Gifts

The HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair continues to be the largest event of its kind in the world. This year's event, which runs 27-30 April, will feature more than 4,200 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions. First-time participants are coming from Bangladesh, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Egypt and Israel.

There will be four new trend-setting zones at the fair: Beauty Products & Accessories; Fine Porcelain Gifts; Health & Wellness; and Hiking and Camping Products. Returning zones include the Hall of Fine Designs with some 130 top-of-the-range brand name collections. The World of Gift Ideas welcomes 790 exhibitors with the latest products and unique gift ideas.

The fair's co-organiser, The Hong Kong Exporters' Association, has gathered some 220 exhibitors under its pavilion with three feature zones: Isle of Originality, Design Village and Brand Oasis. Local design talent will also be highlighted with winning entries of the fourth edition of Hong Kong Smart Gifts Design Awards on display at the Design Village.

Seminars, product demonstrations and launches together with networking events and promotional activities will focus on the latest trends in this premium gifts market.

Packed With Ideas

Jointly organised with CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited, the concurrent Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair (27-30 April) at AsiaWorld-Expo presents printing & packing products, services, equipment and consumables as well as pre- and post-press logistics services. This 10th edition of the Printing & Packaging Fair will welcome more than 410 international exhibitors, including new companies from Belgium, Korea, Malaysia and Vietnam.

The prevailing industry trends will be highlighted at dedicated theme zones, including the De Luxe Zone and the Green Printing & Packaging Solutions Zone. For the first time, a new Beauty & Cosmetic Packaging Display Showcase will be located within the De Luxe Zone in response to huge demand in the sector. Also new to the show is the Festive Items Display.

A free shuttle bus service will run between HKCEC and AsiaWorld-Expo at regular intervals during the course of the Gifts & Premium Fair and Printing & Packaging Fair.

Celebrating 30 Years

A special feature this year is a display at Hall 1B Entrance of the HKCEC which tells the story of the evolution of both the Hong Kong Houseware Fair and the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair over the past three decades.
