MILWAUKEE, U.S., Sept 18, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), a Fortune 100 company and global leader in energy efficiency and sustainability, today announced its inclusion on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) World and North America categories for 2009.
This is the fifth consecutive year Johnson Controls has been named to the DJSI, which tracks the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. Johnson Controls is the only North American company named to the prestigious World Index.
This summer the company was also named to the FTSE4Good Index Series for the sixth consecutive time. The FTSE4Good Index Series measures the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards, and facilitates investment in those companies.
