TAIPEI, TW, Sept 18, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Mobile Challenge Asia Pacific (MCAP), an international mobile startup competition, announced the launch of MCAP Taiwan 2015-2016. MCAP brings together the hottest new mobile startups from across 9 countries in the Asia Pacific region to compete in the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Far EasTone Telecommunications and Taiwan Venture Capital Association are organising the program in Taiwan. As part of this program, top applicants from across Taiwan will be invited to undergo an acceleration workshop to further develop their mobile ideas. In November a distinguished panel of judges will select the top three teams to represent Taiwan at the Regional Finals to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii in January 2016. Here they will compete against 24 other teams to represent Asia Pacific at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain in February 2016. MCAP Taiwan 2015-2016 is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Far EasTone Telecommunications.
