Stuttgart, Germany, Dec 10, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - Since its foundation, Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems already acquired two major projects in the passenger car segment which include gasoline as well as diesel engines.
After the decision to enlarge the existing product portfolio in the direction of commercial vehicles, Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems now received the first large-scale order for exhaust gas turbochargers in the commercial vehicle segment. The Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems technology will be installed in a newly developed off-highway engine of DEUTZ (TCD 2.9 L4). The application areas extend from agriculture to construction and stationary power units. The start of series production at Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems is planned for May, 2012.
Besides our skills in research and development, the given standards in the production plants in Blaichach/Germany and St. Michael/Austria as well as the convincing product and process preparations made the customer choose us as supplier.
