BEIJING, Feb 10, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Hardware-wholesale.com's latest report shows that more and more passengers traveled by air during the Spring Festival holidays.
The analyst of Hardware-wholesale.com said that during the period, Chinese airlines handling some 5.07 million passengers.
According to the analyst from Hardware-wholesale.com, the number of passengers on flights during the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays increasied 6% from the same time in the last year.
Hardware-wholesale.com points out that during the holiday travel season, more than 72% of the seats on flights across the country were loaded, increasing 2 percentage points from the same time last year.
Hardware-wholesale.com analyzes that in order to prepare for the holiday travel surge, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) arranged 38,992 flights during the holidays. The data shows that it is including eight chartered flights to Egypt to fly home 1,796 Chinese travelers stranded amid massive protests in the African country.
