HONG KONG, Mar 16, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - ERA Holdings Global Limited ("ERA" or the "Company", stock code: 8043.HK), a leading non-state owned hydraulic roof support manufacturer in PRC, announced the signing of a joint venture agreement with Marco Systemanalyse und Entwicklung GmbH ("Marco") to manufacture electrohydraulic control systems ("EHCS").
EHCS plays a critical role in the mechanization and automation of longwall coal mines, working integrally with the hydraulic roof supports used in longwall mining which are manufactured by ERA's subsidiary Zhengzhou Siwei Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The joint venture will be located in Zhengzhou, the capital of China's Henan Province. ERA through its subsidiaries will hold 51% of the joint venture and Marco will hold 49%. The joint venture expects to commence sales in April, 2011.
