Chinacomputerparts.com: Revenue from 2010 Global Business Intelligence Tools Increased by 12.7%

BEIJING, July 8, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - According to market research of Chinacomputerparts.com, in the second half of 2010, market revenue from global business intelligence tools exceeded $2 billion. In 2010, revenue of the annual global business intelligence tools market grew 12.7%, an increase of $893 million from 2009.

Chinacomputerparts.com reports that the growth rate of SaaS or cloud business intelligence products will be three times the growth rate of the whole market. In 2010, sales revenue of the top two business intelligence tool makers SAP and IBM both exceeded $1 billion.

SAP has shown strong growth in Australia, Canada, Russia and many other major markets. However, IBM had a strong growth in Australia, Canada, Japan and the United Kingdom.

Chinacomputerparts.com points out that in 2010 the top ten vendors accounted for 72% of sales revenue. The year on year growth rate of MicroStrategy, Oracle, Panorama Software and QlikTech are more than the overall market average. The countries that exceeded the global average growth rate are Australia, Canada, India, Korea and China.
