HONG KONG, Aug 11, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Eternite International Company Limited ("Eternite" or the "Company"; stock code: 8351) today kicks off the soft opening of its "Larry Jewelry" (Causeway Bay shop). This is the first shop opened by Eternite since completing the acquisition of Larry (HK) and Larry (Singapore) and marks the commencement of the Group's business expansion plan.
Mr. Joe Chan, Chairman of Eternite, said, "After completing the acquisition, we started to focus on expanding the customer segment and raising brand awareness of Larry Jewelry. By strategically opening this new shop in the tourist shopping hotspot of Causeway Bay, we aim to capture opportunities arising from Mainland visitors' demand for premium jewelry, and are preparing for the upcoming golden week of 1st October. Commanding an investment of HK$30,000,000, the new shop is located on Shop B, Ground Floor, Thai Kong Building, No. 482 Hennessy Road, Hong Kong (Percival Street) and occupies an area of 1,000 sq. ft.. Together with the Group's shops in Admiralty, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, "Larry Jewelry" operates four jewelry retail outlets in Hong Kong. It also operates two jewelry retail outlets in Singapore.
