TOKYO, Nov 6, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - JCB, a leading international payment brand in Japan, announced that it has launched a one month trial focusing on usability for the new JCB Mobile Wallet platform and plans to release the product to the market in 2013.
The JCB Mobile Wallet handles payment, point programs, discounts and other special offers with some unique functionalities, making it the Mobile Wallet of choice for users who want to take advantage of convenience and savings.

The JCB Mobile Wallet is based on a platform developed by Dai Nippon Printing, which is also participating in the trial. The trial offers discounts and special offers at merchants in the trendy shopping district of Omotesando in Tokyo and will test the usability of app functions such as exchanging points for discount coupons and exchanging points among users.
JCB is aiming to release the JCB Mobile Wallet in 2013, using the results of the trial to improve contents and functions from the point of view of users, merchants and service providers. The first market to be introduced will be Japan, followed by other markets depending upon the needs in each market.
