This year's City of Dreams Macau GT Cup will see 33 internationally renowned racers from 13 different countries and regions, including a number of big names in the racing field. The City of Dreams Macau GT cup will double as the Asia GT series' final round. It will undoubtedly grasp the attention of car racing enthusiasts from around the world.

At the media event, dozens of the competing drivers for the City of Dreams Macau GT Cup attended, including last year's champion Mr. Edoardo Mortara from Italy, first-runner up Mr. Keita Sawa from Japan, second-runner up Mr. Daniel Watts from Britain, the leading racer of the Asia GT Cup Mr. Mok Weng Sun from Singapore and the only racer from China, the 18-year-old Mr. Li Zhi Cong. Mortara and Sawa shared their preparation strategies. Mortara said he was thrilled to compete at the Macau Grand Prix again; he was confident to defend his crown and was looking forward to racing his fellow top drivers. Sawa said he was targeting the championship after the training and experience he had gained in the past year.
Celebrity Ms. Kate Tsui, who recently scored the crown at a car racing event in Shanghai, also attended the event. When asked about her strategies to win, she said, "I enjoy the speed and the way the car glides on the tracks. My nerve got to me at first, but once the engine started roaring and the speed picked up, I relaxed quite a bit, and I performed much better than expected." Tsui learned that there was a female driver in the City of Dreams Macau GT Cup, she wished her all the success. At the end of the media event, Tsui was joined by Melco Crown Entertainment management to steer the wheels and kick-started the City of Dreams Macau GT Cup.
The City of Dreams Macau GT Cup will take place on Sunday November 18. Starting from November 15 to 17, there will be practices, qualifying and warm up races. City of Dreams' R Bar and Flame Bar pump up the fans' adrenaline level with Grand Prix themed cocktails.
