MACAO, Nov 19, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - The 25-year-old Italian driver successfully defended his crown in the City of Dreams Macau GT Cup. With City of Dreams as the title sponsor, 33 renowned international car racers from 13 different countries and regions competed earlier today at the Guia Circuit. Edoardo Mortara took the checkered flag once again, Alexandre Imperatori from Hong Kong and Daniel Watts from the UK were the first and second runner-ups respectively. Melco Crown Entertainment's Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ted Chan presented the award to Mortara while Senior Advisor Mr. Kent Wong presented to Imperatori and Watts. Chan congratulated the winning racers, and expressed gratitude to the Macau Grand Prix Committee as well as the Macau SAR Government for their hard work which made the 59th Macau Grand Prix a successful one.
