HONG KONG, Jan 7, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - NewOcean Energy Holdings Limited ("NewOcean Energy" or the "Group;" stock code: 00342), a leading Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) operator in the Southern China region, announced that it has secured a contract from the HKSAR Government in collaboration with Shell Hong Kong Limited. The Group is to deliver not less than 15,000,000 litres of quality ultra-low sulphur diesel and provide comprehensive ancillary services to all Government-owned vessels for two years starting from mid-January this year.
The Group's marine bunkering station, which is located at Yaumatei in Hong Kong will provide 24-hour service to vessels of 11 Government departments including the Fire Services Department and Customs and Excise Department. NewOcean Energy's fleet will also deliver ultra-low sulphur diesel directly to the Marine Police Headquarters in Aberdeen.
