KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Connell Bros. Company (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Bayer Co. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd to market and distribute the coatings, adhesives, and specialties (CAS) product lines from Bayer MaterialScience to its customers in Malaysia, which was effective as of July 1, 2013.
With sales of 11.5 billion Euros in 2012, Bayer MaterialScience, a Bayer Group company, is among the world's largest manufacturers of high-tech materials and one of the world's leading suppliers of materials for coatings, adhesives and specialties.
The partnership is an exciting opportunity that will see both companies share expertise and work together to offer an extensive range of specialty chemicals to a wide range of industries in Malaysia. Through Connell Brothers' formulation and application lab located in Bangkok, Thailand, the company's technical specialists can aid in specialized product development for customers in the region.
