HONG KONG, Feb 24, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global", or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 00967.HK) is pleased to announce that the Company has won the following bids: BOT project for Jianmin Sewage Treatment Plant (Phase I) in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province and BOT project for the water supply and sewage treatment plant for the Western Industrial Zone in Qian'an City, PRC.

Project for Jianmin Sewage Treatment Plant (Phase I) in Ankang City
The project is located in Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. The designed daily treatment capacity of the project will be approximately 30,000 tonnes/day, and 15,000 tonnes/day for Phase I construction. It will be invested, built, operated and transferred by the Company as a BOT project. Total investment amount of the project is approximately RMB50,000,000. It has a licensed operating term of 29 years. The project is situated in the important water source protection zone of the middle route project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and in the riverside of the Han River, which is an environment-sensitive area. Construction of Jianmin Sewage Treatment Plant will play a significant role in improving the infrastructure of Ankang city, alleviating the domestic pollution pressure in the continuous and steady manner, improving urban living environment in Ankang City and protecting water quality of the Han River.

Water supply and sewage treatment plant for the Western Industrial Zone in Qian'an City
The project is located in Qian'an City, Hebei Province. Its Phase I construction consists of a water supply plant with a designed capacity of approximately 15,000 tonnes/per day, a sewage treatment plant with a designed capacity of approximately 10,000 tonnes/per day and a portion of the auxiliary drainage pipeline, the designed capacity of which will be increased to approximately 30,000 tonnes/per day and approximately 20,000/per day respectively in future. Total investment amount of

the project is approximately RMB59,300,000. It has a licensed operating term of 25 years. Construction of the project will safeguard water quality, ecosystem and water safety in the Luan River Basin which has a cluster of cities like Beijing, Tianjin, Tangshan, Qinhuangdao and Chengde in the Bohai Rim, and will play a significant role in saving energy, reducing emission and promoting sustainable development in Qian'an City, Hebei Province.
