COMPUTEX, Taipei, June 3, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - When your passengers sleep as you drive, do you feel lonely? Mio, one of the leading makers of PNDs (Portable Navigation Devices), has insightfully launched its first comprehensive range of PNDs with built-in TV tuners Mio Moov V500 and V700 range at Computex Taipei 2009 today. Featuring 4.7" and 7" widescreens respectively, the two devices are expected to bring a new vision to the world of navigation.
As the holiday season approaches, people look for navigation devices to provide, not only excellent navigation features, but also entertainment capabilities that can bring more fun and laughter to everyone in the car. The Moov V series is designed to be the ideal travel companion, providing entertainment for all the family whether they are in the car or outside having a picnic.
Steve Chang, Vice President of Mio Technology Corp. said: "The development of digital TV is already very mature worldwide, but so far the market demands for mobile TV solutions have still to be fulfilled. The two models both are packed with, the newly-developed Mio Spirit navigation software that provides a faster POI keyword searching and a unique "Explore Mode(TM)", which helps users to explore more by displaying surrounding POIs in an intuitive way, so users can find places worth visiting quickly and easily.
For extra POI content Moov V-series users can take advantage of the Google Map "Send-to-GPS" service.
