At Computex Taipei 2009 (June 2 - 6), MSI will debut a new addition to its netbook line-up the classic C series. Not only has extensive weight reduction efforts been made to the C series, the pricing has also become "lighter" as well. Five new models are currently planned for release: the CX700, the CR700, the CX600, the CR600 and the CR400. In releasing the classic C series, MSI hopes to offer consumers wanting the freedom of mobile computing with the chance to own a light and stylish aesthetic notebook at a reasonable price. It's now easier than ever to upgrade from a desktop PC to a stylish mobile adventurer.
The new CX700, CR700, CX600, CR600 and CR400 notebooks come with 17.3", 16" and 14" widescreen LCD displays at 16:9 aspect ratio, making them well-suited to watching high-quality movies and other multimedia content. On the graphics front, the CX700 comes with the high-end ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD4330 discrete graphics card (with 512MB or internal DDR2 VRAM), the CX600 has the high-end ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 discrete graphics card (with 512MB or internal DDR2 VRAM), while the CR400 is equipped with the great performing NVIDIA Geforce 8200MG. These all offer a very eye-catching performance when it comes to smoothness, crispness and 3D effects.
Apart from the internal Combo, DVD Dual and Super Multi optical disk drives so you can have your own personal mini-cinema, high-speed burning is also supported. The internal 4-in-1 card reader supports SD, MMC, MS and XD memory cards while the integrated 1.3 Megapixel webcam and high-sensitivity microphone means you can video conference where you may be.
All five new models are equipped with MSI's proprietary ECO mode. Users can use this to extend their battery life by choosing between gaming, cinema, presentation, word processing or turbo battery modes as necessary, giving a useful boost to your mobile lifestyle!
