Shuttle Exhibits Diverse Mini-PC Solutions at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2009; Classic XPC Cubes, All-in-One PCs, Slim Fanless Solutions and More

COMPUTEX, Taipei, June 3, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - Shuttle Inc., the world's leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers and accessories showcases its latest lineup during Computex Taipei 2009. High-end and mainstream multimedia models are added to the lineup of classic XPC cubes, and more slim desktops are now available in its value-based product line. Shuttle has received more than 50 patents worldwide that attribute to its innovations in chassis design, heat dispersion, and more. Shuttle will showcase new "Fanless Solutions" from its slim desktop product line for VIA and Intel platforms, which feature leading edge heat dispersion technology. Another highlight at the show is the highly-anticipated all-in-one PC the Shuttle X50. The X50 features an Intel(R) Atom(TM) 330 dual-core processor with a 15.6-inch 1366 x768 16:9 resistive touchscreen monitor. Custom screen sizes from 10.2 inches and up are available on demand.

Classic XPC

Prima Series -

The Shuttle SX58H7 is the fastest and most furious small form factor PC in the world. It is the first SFF of its kind that supports the Intel(R) Core i7 processor. Featuring the Intel X58 high-end chipset, the SX58H7 supports up to 16GB of DDR3 memory for superior performance. Bringing some of today's best multi-GPU technologies, it supports both ATI(R) CrossFireX and Nvidia(R) SLI configurations, allowing two or more discrete graphics cards to work together to deliver even greater graphics performance. The SX58H7 is ideal for power users who require a high-performance PC for rendering, 3D animation, graphic design, video editing and gaming.

Glamor Series -

The Shuttle SA76G2 is the mainstream model designed to bring multimedia functionality to value- and performance-minded consumers. It is an AM3 ready platform that supports the latest AMD AM3 and AM2+ processors, and features the AMD 760G chipset. The SA76G2 combines the latest DirectX(R) 10.0 and SurroundView(TM) technologies for the ultimate high-definition multimedia experience in a value-priced package. With ATI(R) Hybrid CrossFireX and SurroundView(TM) technology, it supports the simultaneous use of up to 4 monitors for a larger and clearer visual workspace. It is ideal for gaming and home entertainment.

Fanless Solutions -

Shuttle is best known for its innovative heat dispersion technology in small form factor PCs. At Computex 2009, Shuttle will unveil to media and industry insiders for the first time its latest technology fanless solutions. Energy efficiency, durability, and affordability are the key elements of the new product line, making it ideal for office and Internet-related tasks. Intel(R) Atom and VIA Nano(TM) based models XS32 HD and XS29F respectively will be launched with a fanless design and come in a size that's only 3 liters small. These fanless solutions feature a radiator for system cooling which does away with a need for a fan and thereby keeps the system ultra quiet. The XS32 HD also supports HDMI for high-resolution HD-playback, and is very well-suited for home entertainment.

All-in-One -

The Shuttle X50 is the first of the new all-in-one product line. The 15.6-inch all-in-one PC combines all the essential applications and technology for everyday computing into one slim and stylish device. With a touch-enabled monitor and on-screen keyboard, the X50 has everything built right-in for everyday use computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, microphone, speakers and more. The X50 is versatile, suitable for everyone from beginners to more advanced users in a home or small office setting. It's even suitable for industrial applications and settings, such as for digital signage and kiosks.

At Computex 2009, Shuttle will also demonstrate solutions for home automation. The Shuttle Bridge 58 will be unveiled a solution designed to work seamlessly with the X50 to control devices in the home, such as lighting. To allow enhanced security in the home environment, the Bridge 58 can even work with IP cameras as a remote surveillance solution.
