Oakland, CA, May 30, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Zhone Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZHNE), a global leader in fiber network access solutions (FTTx), today announced a new deployment with ESCO Technologies, LLC that provides senior living facilities with state-of-the-art technology to enable better care and more independence for residents. According to The Fiscal Times, there are 76 million baby boomers in the U.S. and the youngest of those will start turning 50 this year. As senior living communities grow to accommodate the aging baby boomer generation, ESCO Technologies is using Zhone's MXP-150, MXP-160 and MXK-VDSL Access Platform to provide a unique level of advanced broadband services to these communities.
