SINGAPORE, June 12, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, procurement, construction, and operations firm announces that it will share its expertise and projects during the Singapore International Water Week to be held 22-26 June. The firm is a founding sponsor of the conference.
Nearly 10,000 water professionals and elected officials from around the globe will address challenges, showcase technologies, discover opportunities and celebrate achievements in the water world by exploring the theme of "Sustainable Cities: Infrastructure and Technologies for Water." The five flagship programs of the event are Water Leaders Summit, Water Convention, Water Expo, Business Forums and Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize.
At the conference CH2M HILL will showcase its experience developing an alternate and sustainable water resource at the Bedok Demonstration Plant. Tom Searle, CH2M HILL's President of International Operations, will participate in the Water Leaders Summit. Comprising four separate discussion sessions, the summit aims to achieve active exchanges amongst the panel and water industry leaders.
Linda Macpherson, Vice President and Principal Technologist at CH2M HILL will be the keynote speaker in the session on Planning for Sustainable Water Solutions, speaking about Water: Nature's Amazing Reusable Resource - Talking about Quality not History.
Jointly organized by PUB and CII (Confederation of Indian Industries), this year's India Business Forum is expected to be attended by more than 300 people and several ministers from the region. Themed "Business of Water in INDIA: Building Sustainable Growth", CH2M HILL's Asia Water Business Strategy and Technology Director, Mr. Vinod Singh will be speaking on "Business of Water in India Multinational Corporation Perspective highlighting important characteristics of water market in India. CH2M HILL's senior leaders will also participate in the Ministerial Networking Tea sessions organized at this event.
