SINGAPORE, July 15, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise today announced the appointment of Matthieu Destot as Vice-President of Sales for Asia Pacific, reinforcing its commitment to growth in the region. Effective from 1 July 2014, Matthieu will be in charge of growing the business in Asia Pacific, a key growth market where demand for seamless cloud-based collaboration and broader network and communication solutions is on the rise.

Prior to this appointment, Matthieu played an instrumental role as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales for France. Over the course of three years, he helped drive growth of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's market share for both small and medium enterprises and large Corporations. Matthieu's efforts were also critical in expanding the business, deepening the relationships with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's key partners for both Communications and Networking, as well as kick-starting business activities in OpenTouch and Cloud.
Prior to leading the sales division in France, Matthieu was the worldwide Director for the FT Orange global account and held a role as Marketing & Business Development Director. He has also held several positions, serving as worldwide Small & Medium Business (SMB) segment Director, Director of the OmniPCX Office product line, and as Head of Technology Marketing.

Matthieu Destot is Vice-President of Sales for Asia Pacific, Alcatel-Lucent Entreprise. Charged with facilitating the commitment of growth in this key market, Matthieu is focussed on addressing the increasing demand for seamless cloud-based collaboration and broader network and communication solutions across all segments and key verticals.
Prior to this appointment, Mattieu held the position of Vice President France for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise in charge of Network, Communications and Cloud activities in the French market across Small & Medium Business to Large Corporations. He was particularly instrumental in setting the trend for Cloud, bringing our extensive channel ecosystem towards the next UC generation with OpenTouch and successfully developing the sales of Network solutions.
Previously, within Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Matthieu was Director, France Telecom / Orange global account on a worldwide basis developing both sell to and sell thru models. Before this he joined the French team as Marketing & Business Development Director, France.
Matthieu has held several positions as worldwide Small & Medium Business (SMB) segment Director and Product Line Director of the OmniPCX Office and as Head of Technology Marketing.
Prior to joining the Enterprise activity, Matthieu spent 3 years with the Mobile Phone Division of Alcatel, with different positions in software technology marketing and purchasing in France and the United States.
Matthieu Destot holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the Ecole Centrale Lille and is a graduate of the ESSEC business school in Paris.
