Sound Global Won the Bid of Leiyang Project with Total Capacity of 200,000 tonnes/day

HONG KONG, Aug 14, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global", or the "Company";Stock Code: 00967.HK) is pleased to announce that the Company has won the bid for a BOT project to build phase II of the Sewage Treatment Plant in Leiyang City of Hunan Province in August 2014.

The project with designed total daily treatment capacity of 200,000 tons will occupy an area of approximately 16 hectares and serve approximately 800,000 people on approximately 80 square kilometers with a service concession period of 30 years. The construction of this project consists of both short term and long-term construction. The short-term construction with a designed daily treatment capacity of 100,000 tons will occupy an area of approximately 10 hectares and adopt A2/O sewage treatment process. The quality of water discharged is designed to meet Class I B standard as set out in the Discharge Standards on Pollutants from Urban Sewage Treatment Plants (GB18918-2002). The aggregate investment for the project is approximately RMB330 million. Sound Global is responsible for the investment, construction, operation and transfer of the project. The construction of this project will play an important role in realizing the sustainable development for Leiyang City.
