SINGAPORE, Sept 25, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Another packed day is underway at the Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity, with shortlists from a further seven categories revealed this morning.
The shortlists in Direct, Radio, Film, Film Craft, Promo & Activation, Print & Poster Craft, and Branded Content & Entertainment can now be viewed online at www.spikes.asia. Australia, China and Japan are still leading the shortlists.
All shortlisted work is currently being exhibited and screened at the Festival, giving delegates the unique opportunity to view the most exciting creative communications work from across Asia Pacific. With only two more categories remaining, Integrated and Creative Effectiveness, excitement is building in anticipation of the Spikes Asia Awards Ceremony on Friday 26 September.
The busy Festival programme continues with top-class forums and seminars. Speakers on the seminar stage today include Burnie Burns of Rooster Teeth Productions discussing the importance of audience interaction, and the Campaign Asia seminar, where David Guerrero and Rob Sherlock will explore how agencies in Asia are cultivating open thinking and nurturing creative confidence to give brands a boost of energy. Later this afternoon, Jorge Calleja, Executive Creative Director at The Martin Agency and Jill Baskin, VP Global Communications at Mondelez International, will together highlight the lessons they have learnt in trying to reinvent global brand icons.
Addressing the theme of 'Technology and Innovation', TechTalks are one hour sessions giving audiences an opportunity to hear and see the latest thinking, gadgets and technology from around the world and develop a deeper understanding of the innovations reshaping the creative media landscape. During the Proximity TechTalk, which took place on Tuesday, the game-changing Oculus Rift was demonstrated, offering attendees their very own Spikes-special version of 'World Under Water'. Other sessions have included Sophie Ong from Tencent discussing Innovation in a Connected Age and, later today, Will Findlater from Stuff will look at the future of wearable technology.
The latest information regarding the shortlists and Festival events is available online at www.spikes.asia.
