HONG KONG, Nov 27, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - China Wood Optimization (Holding) Limited ("China Wood Optimization" or the "Group"; stock code: 8099), an advanced new technology group engaged in processing, manufacturing and sales of wood products, has been designated as a "Vice President Unit" by the China Wood Protection Industry Association (CWPIA) this year at the "7th Conference of China Wood Protection Industry and Forums of New Technological on Wood Optimization of Plantation" held on 30 and 31 October this year in Changsha, Hunan. Mr. LI Li, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, has also been honored as an "Outstanding Young Entrepreneur" at the first "Jintan Award of China Wood Industry".
China Wood Optimization is the co-organizer of this year's conference. Mr. LI Li attended the conference as a special guest and shared with experts, university professors and industry professionals his experience in R&D, production and application of new materials within the areas of functional optimization of plantations.

The first "Jintan" Award is to feature four categories: People, Corporation, Application and Innovation. After the examination and approval by industry experts and professors, China Wood Optimization has been designated as a "Vice President Unit" by CWPIA this year, while Mr. LI has also been honored as an "Outstanding Young Entrepreneur".
CWPIA is a national industry association established on 18 April 2011 with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its business supervisory unit is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and its secretariat is located in the Timber Conservation and Development Center. CWPIA has been voluntarily founded by departments, units, universities and companies engaged in the administration and management, research, education, international cooperation and news publication related to the sustainable utilization of wood, as well as individuals across various sectors concerned about and committed to promoting the sustainable utilization and development of wood resources in China.
