HONG KONG, Dec 29, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced that Mr. Liu Yanhua, the counsellor of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (the "PRC") has visited Freetech, performed investigation and study on the current market and technology development status of "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, and gave the guidance on the Group's future development strategies and patterns.
The counsellors of the State Council are appointed by the Premier of the State Council. They are well-known experts and scholars. Their main responsibilities are providing advice or suggestions to the State Council on the policy development. Mr. Liu Yanhua, previously served as the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Science of PRC, is an influential expert and has engaged in the research, management and international scientific and technological cooperation work of resource and environment's field.
During the visit, Mr. Liu Yanhua highly recognized the achievements of Freetech in regard to the innovation ability, development speed and promotion on the development of cyclical economy. Besides, he stated that the government policy should support the implementation of new recycling technologies.
About Hot-in-Place Technology
Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
