HONG KONG, Jan 6, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is kicking off the New Year with a trio of major trade fairs opening next week at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, the HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, and the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair which is co-organised by HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, run for four days from 12-15 January. Together, the three fairs will welcome over 2,600 exhibitors from around the world.
| Three Major Trade Fairs To Usher In The New Year |
HKTDC Acting Executive Director Benjamin Chau noted that the recent relaxation of relevant government policies on the Chinese mainland could result in an additional one to two million newborns each year. This trend, together with the steady economic growth of the Chinese mainland, would boost the prospects for the toy and baby products markets in the Chinese mainland, Mr Chau said. Smart and electronic products are still popular worldwide. The global market trend is to integrate new technologies with a variety of traditional products in order to develop more new items. A lot of related products are on display in the toys, baby products and stationery fairs, Mr Chau said.
Fun And Games
This year's 41st edition of the Toys & Games Fair welcomes around 2,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, making this the largest event of its kind in Asia.
