With automated technologies for everyday life advancing rapidly, the LF-SA is a study model designed at the Nice, France-based design studio ED2(2), aimed at delivering the joy of total driving control. The LF-SA is a Lexus-first 2+2 ultra-compact vehicle that incorporates bold and exhilarating cutting-edge design trends and embodies the ultimate luxury that Lexus seeks.
LF-SA stands for Lexus Future Small Adventurer, expressing the concept's aim of delivering the joy of driving even as automated driving technologies become more prevalent.
The robust, urbanized exterior and driver-focused interior are a bold interpretation of the Lexus design philosophy, L-finesse(3).

Main Features
Exterior
- Compact package provides the easy handling and agility essential for driving in urban areas - Avant-garde sculpted body surface casts different shadows depending on the viewing angle and time of day - Powerful, three-dimensional spindle grille that meshes with the front fenders highlights the vehicle's stability - Bold undercutting above the wheel arches emphasizes the distinctive contours, conveying dynamism and powerful forward motion - The rear design, which features angular, double-stepped styling combined with L-shaped lamp clusters, also expresses the spindle grille shape. In addition, Lexus trademark signatures such as the arrowhead motif are evident throughout the rear design
Interior
- In contrast to the compact exterior, the sweeping dashboard creates an impression of a roomy interior - Based on the assumption that the driver will often be the sole occupant during urban use, the driver's seat is fixed and the steering wheel and pedals can be adjusted to the driver's preferred positioning. The front passenger seat slides to provide access to the rear seats - Two overlapping elliptical areas within the cabin created by differences in materials and volume reinforce the priority placed on the driver - Crystalline instrument panel with black-beveled hologram display and heads-up display with touch pad in the center console creates a futuristic feel
