HONG KONG, Apr 14, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced the successful completion of its asphalt pavement maintenance project at Hainan Ring Expressway which is the main road to the conference hall before the opening of Asian Bo Ao Forum ("ABF", or the "Forum") 2015 Annual Conference.
ABF is an international open organization with a fixed conference date and site which provides a high-end platform for economic, social, environmental and other related communications among the governments, companies, experts and professionals. ABF aims to promote the economy exchange, coordination, and cooperation within the Asian Counties and Asian with the rest of the region. Bo Ao in the Hainan Province serves as the permanent site of ABF Headquarters since ABF was officially launched in 2001.
Hainan Ring Expressway where the road maintenance services were provided, is the only main road to the conference hall. During ABF 2015 Annual Conference, politicians, business people and academic members from 49 countries and regions went through the highway. In order to ensure the convenience and the comfort of individuals, the owner invited the Group to conduct the road maintenance project to the damaged parts of expressway before the opening of the Forum. By using 4 "Hot-in-Place" APM vehicles, the Group has completed a 29-kilometer maintenance workload and met the transportation requirements for ABF within 25 days, 15 days prior to the opening of the Forum. This project has demonstrated the technology and equipment advantages of the Group.
Besides, this was the second time for the Group to obtain the road maintenance contract for ABF, following the successful completion of road maintenance work before ABF opening in 2011.
About Hot-in-Place Technology Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
