Freetech Successfully Completes Three Municipal Road Maintenance Projects for Shaoguan City in Guangdong Province

HONG KONG, May 12, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced the successful completion of three municipal road maintenance projects in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, including Shaoguan Avenue.

Shaoguan City is among the first batch of six national ecological civilization construction pilot areas ("NECCPA") approved by Environmental Protection Department of the People's Republic of China in 2008, which has higher requirements of environmental friendly technology in infrastructure construction. In 2013, Municipal Administration Department of Shaoguan City purchased the Group's daily road maintenance equipment for road maintenance and emergency repair.

In these projects, Shaoguan City reintroduced Freetech's Hot-in-place Modular Series to conduct medium to large scale maintenance work on three busy municipal roads. The equipment and technology of the Group not only demonstrated the features of fast maintenance speed, low noise and reduced interference with the traffic, but also reduced the damage to the manholes and greeneries on municipal roads by using the equipment's unique mechanical settings. The whole process of maintenance projects completely met the environmental regulations and requirements of NECCPA.

A qualified independent third party testing institution appointed by the local government has issued a report stating that the test indexes after the road maintenance services of these projects have satisfied the national regulatory requirements. At this moment, official statistics also show that over ninety cities across the country have been approved as NECCPA, the government has also increased the requirements for construction of ecological civilization which may bring favourable news to environmental friendly construction technology.

About Hot-in-Place Technology
Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
