HONG KONG, July 7, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced that the Group has successfully completed road maintenance project of 190,000 square meters in Guiyang City of Guizhou Province by using its "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology in June 2015.
Guiyang City is the provincial capital of Guizhou Province of the People's Republic of China, the national model city for ecological civilization, and the important central city of "Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone" recognized by the State Council. Guiyang International Big Data Expo 2015, International Forum for Ecological Civilization and many other world-scale events were held here. The road maintenance projects on Changling South Road and Changling North Road which performed by the Group are the main roads to the main venue of the International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Due to the heavy traffic, there is a time limit on the road maintenance work of municipal road. At this moment, most of the "Hot-in-Place" recycling equipment in China is unable to perform the road maintenance work on the municipal roads. By using the advantages of the Group's equipment and technology, the Group's equipment can enter into and leave the working site and complete the preparation work within 30 minutes. The road maintenance's speed can reach 4-6 m/min. Further, the equipment only occupies one lane and has been used in Beijing City, Nanjing City, Guangzhou City and many other cities. In this project, the Group has completed 190,000 square meters of road maintenance work in Guiyang City, provided efficient and high-quality maintenance services and also reduced urban road congestion.
Guiyang City is the first national model city for ecological civilization and has strict requirements on ecological indicators. In this project, the Group's equipment and technology have ensured the 100% reuse of the original material's value with zero emissions of solid waste, saved a lot of new asphalt mixture, and met the national low-carbon, recycle and green requirements on ecological civilization.
About Hot-in-Place Technology
Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
