SEOUL, S.KOREA, Aug 12, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Suprema, a global leader in biometrics and security, announced the three additional RF card format variant models to its BioStation 2 line up. The new models support 125KHz EM, 125KHz HID Prox, and 13.56MHz HID iClass SE RF standards and complete the RF line up that already supported 13.56MHz MiFare/DesFire/DesFire EV1/Felica/NFC formats. The new additions will help Suprema to expand its customer base with specific RF card format requirements, especially in the US and UK.
BioStation 2 blends powerful hardware and sophisticated algorithms to improve accuracy and provide matching speeds of up to 20,000 fingerprints per second. The performance is matched with a large user and log capacity to accommodate mid to enterprise level applications.
Combined with IP65-rated structure and Power-over-Ethernet capability along with a new optical sensor that enhances the capture of wet or dry fingers allows the terminal to be installed in both indoor and outdoor settings. The terminal features extensive communication interfaces including TCP/IP, RS485, Wiegand and USB and offers built-in WiFi to extend its versatility.
