Mitsubishi Corporation Appoints New Chairman of the Board of Directors and New President

TOKYO, Jan 20, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - We are pleased to announce that the following changes of officers and directors were resolved at the Meeting of the Board of Directors held today. The changes are effective as of the date of the General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in June, 2010,

1. Mr. Mikio Sasaki will become Director, Senior Corporate Advisor.
2. Mr. Yorihiko Kojima will become Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Mr. Mikio Sasaki.
3. Mr. Ken Kobayashi , currently Executive Vice President will become Senior Executive Vice President as of April 1, 2010, and then become President, Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Corporation, succeeding Mr. Yorihiko Kojima, as of the date of the General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in June, 2010.
