HONG KONG, Oct 2, 2016 - (ACN Newswire) - FDG Electric Vehicles Ltd ("FDG" or "the Company", SEHK:0729), with its subsidiaries ("the Group"), is pleased to announce unaudited operating results. As of 2 Oct 2016 the Group had received orders for a total of 2,200 EV units (electric vehicles) with a total contract amount of approximately HK$1,700 million. The Group has delivered over 600 EV units to customers for sales of approximately HK$366 million. These operating results are satisfactory.
In the six months since beginning mass production at the Group's EV production plant in Hangzhou, results in production and in sales orders are satisfactory. The Group will continue to develop its Independent-Forward-Engineering EVs, to build a new electric vehicle production plant in Guizhou, and actively carry forward the plan to build a production base of LFP cathode material. The Group will further increase production capacity in order to expand market share and bring greater returns to our shareholders.
