| RF Equipment to Aid Nationwide Mobile Network Rollout and Enhancement |
HONG KONG, Dec 7, 2017 - (ACN Newswire) - Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited ("Comba Telecom" or "the Group", HKSE: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, has signed a major agreement with a leading Indian telecom operator. Comba Telecom agreed to supply RF equipment which will be deployed in the telecom operator's mobile networks across India.
With the second largest population in the world, India has a huge market in smartphone utilization. The number of smartphone users in the country is expected to reach 299.24 million in 2017 and 442.5 million by 2020[1]. The multi-year cooperation contract is worth millions of US dollars.
