SINGAPORE, June 9, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - The Global CSR Awards, Asia's most prestigious award to recognising the efforts of companies in Asia and the rest of the world is back for the 2nd year. The award is held in conjunction with the Global CSR Summit and will be hosted at the Raffles Town Club, Singapore on 29-30 June 2010.
The Global CSR Awards is an annual award organised by The Pinnacle Group International. The programme recognises and honours companies for outstanding, innovative and world class products, services, products and programmes implemented in 2009/2010 as part of their broad corporate and CSR strategy.

This year the distinguished judges for the CSR awards includes:

- Mr Paul Supramanium, Partner, Law Asia
- Mr Jonas Kor, Director, Marketing & Communications, World Vision International
- Ms Saleemah Ismail, President, UNIFEM
Dr. Geoffrey Williams, Founder & Managing Director of OWW Consulting Pte. Ltd, a leading private consulting company in Asia and the Middle East, has been appointed as advisor to the judging committee.
The panel of judges assembled reflect a range of stakeholders from the corporate, professional and civil society communities. Independence is highly valued where judges are required to declare any potential conflict of interest with the nominees before any vote is cast.
Winners of the prestigious Global CSR Awards 2010 will be announced during the awards gala luncheon on 30 June 2010. Details of the winners will be published on the Business Times on 5 July 2010.
Last year's top winners were Kulim, FedEx, IBM, Globe, P&G, The Body Shop, Carl Zeiss, Merck, YTL and TNT.
