MTA VIETNAM2010, Vietnam's Largest Manufacturing Solutions Event, Comes to a Successful Close

SINGAPORE, July 19, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - MTA VIETNAM2010 drew to a close on 9 July after four days at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. 6907 trade visitors turned up for the event to view the latest technologies showcased by 342 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, including 11 international group pavilions from Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and United Kingdom.

This year's show saw many quality visitors who were keen to use the show as the premier sourcing platform to view a wide-ranging showcase of the latest quality machine tools and solutions, and network with relevant potential business partners. The VIP buyers came from companies such as Aureole Business Components, Heise Industries Vietnam, Long Thanh Plastic, Masuoka Vietnam, Mida Precision Mold, Nissey Vietnam, Song Thu Shipyard, Tapper & Wilcox, Thai Nhu Ltd, Tien Tuan Pharmaceutical Machinery, Vietnam Suzuki, Vietsovpetro, Yen Tho Mechanical Co, and many more.

About 70 group delegations from Vietnamese enterprises attended MTA VIETNAM2010 to check out the latest machine tools and view product demonstrations from leading Vietnamese and overseas manufacturing players. The delegations came from Fujitsu, Hirota Precision, Hokuriku Machinery Club, ScanCom Vietnam, Sunmore Vietnam, Toyo Precision, Z755 (Vietnam's Ministry of Defence), Meinan Vietnam, ABE Industrial, Dai Dong Tien Corporation and many more.

Exhibitors such as Suzuki Special Steel and TRUMPF also affirmed the relevance of MTA VIETNAM2010 and its visitors.

"Our company specialises in structural steel, and we deal in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel for the manufacturing of tools. Suzuki Special Steel has a variety of high quality, customised processing and cutting machines, and I'm very happy to have met my keen, VIP customers from KK Kousei, Toyota Motor, MK Innova and Muzuno Bankin at MTA VIETNAM2010," said Mr. Shinsuke Suzuki, President of Suzuki Special Steel Co. Ltd, Japan.

Said Mr. Edward Yuen, General Manager, TRUMPF Pte Ltd, Singapore, "We sold our TruBend 7036 on just the second day of the show so we're very happy with the quality of the visitors this year. We're also in negotiations for the TruLaser 1030 which we'll confirm in about a month. We've made reservations to be back in the show in 2011."

MTA VIETNAM2010 is supported by Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the People's Committee of HCMC, the Vietnam Automation Association, the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry, the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association, the Vietnam Steel Association, and the Vietnam Society of Automotive Engineers. As such, the opening of the show witnessed the attendance of distinguished officials including Mr. Doan Duy Khuong, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Phan The Hao, Director of the Head Representative of Ministry of Industry and Trade in Ho Chi Minh City, and Mr. Huynh Khanh Hiep, Deputy Chief of the 'of Ho Chi Minh City Secretariat.
