SINGAPORE, Sept 20, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - 19 Radio and 54 Digital entries have made it through to the shortlist at this year's Spikes Awards, Asia's leading creative advertising competition.
Judging is currently taking place in Singapore with David Lubars, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer of BBDO North America overseeing the Radio judging and Rei Inamoto chairing the judging of the Digital category.
The winners, along with the Spikes Asia 2010 Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Network of the Year will be revealed at tomorrow night's awards ceremony.
Events at this morning's Spikes Asia Festival included packed seminar sessions presented by David Jones, Global CEO of Havas Worldwide and Euro RSCG Worldwide who with guest Tony Fernandez, Group CEO of AirAsia, talked about how the creative and business communities in Asia can rally together to effect positive change. Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP Worldwide, was joined on stage by a panel of clients for The Spikes Debate on how marketers are coping with the fast economic growth in Asia.
